On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Under Armour, a world-class company that gears up and accompanies the best athletes to the top, launched its FW21 strategy with a joint summit for Latin America and North America — FW21 Americas Summit.

To mark the occasion, and to give set the scene in a casual way, they counted on DJ Yoshi’s staging and then moved on to serious things — a presentation of the FW21 strategy by different members of the organization supported by prominent sports figures.

We carried out the interlingual respeaking task (or real-time captioning as it is also known) by dictating to Dragon Speaking v.15 in Spanish the source utterances in English and streaming our subtitles live through a software that allowed the client to embed it into their platform for their audience.

THis heralds the future, as it is about accessibility, and we believe that it will be the future, surpassing interpretation, which is something of an ephemeral nature, while the written text can be left for later production and as a reference.
